Hand Sanitizer and Goat's MIlk

Hand Sanitizer
3oz- $3

Most hand sanitizers on the market contain alcohol and various chemicals that cause resistant bacteria as well as can be harmful to the body. However, there are many natural substances that have excellent sanitizing properties. Lemongrass, one of the best sanitizing essential oils, matches up with witch hazel and aloe to provide a gentle and safe way to sanitize the hands. It smells absolutely amazing and doesn't dry out like alcohol based solutions. A similar formula is used in natural pediatric hospitals because of the benefits.

Goat's Milk Soap- $5

What's better than real, organic, raw goat's milk soap? Oatmeal, honey, and vanilla joining it! Shea, cocoa butter, and lovely olive oil accompany these lovely, nourishing ingredients. 100% natural with no fragrance oils, colorants, or essential oils. Pure goodness!

Liquid Soap!

100% Natural anti-flea
Oatmeal Dog Shampoo
8oz- $6
75 cents/ounce

Lavender, lemon, and rosemary oils repel fleas and oatmeal and shea keep a dog's sensitive skin from getting dry. Tested on my white dog's sensitive skin with awesome results! Blue coloring helps brighten white coats. A stronger version with tea tree oil is available, but only in homes without cats, as tea tree oil is unsafe for them.

Rosemary Lemon Antibacterial
8oz- $6
75 cents/ounce

Lemon and rosemary essential oils have been proven in lab tests to have strong antibacterial properties against common home pathogens like e.coli. However, unlike chemical antibiotics, they do not cause widespread resistant bacteria. 100% natural and smells great in a beautiful, shimmering gold.

Liquid soap is made two ways. Some people grate up solid soap and melt it into water. That's sort of like when they take glycerin, melt it, and pout it into a mold. It's the easy way of making it that produces a MUCH lower quality soap. Every bit of liquid soap I make uses the only real method for making it that exists. I use lye and oils like my other soaps, except the sort of lye used for liquid soap doesn't solidify the product. It's a long, involved process that takes up to 30 hours. However, it is ready for use much quicker than solid soap.

Animal and other testing....

I don't believe in animal testing with commercial cosmetic products intended for human use. However, I think that it's common sense to test animal-intended products on animals. I test everything on myself and if it passes that test, I test it on my dog. I have very oily skin, but his is sensitive and drys out easier, so he's an ideal subject. It's not the "smear them with lipstick until they die" sort of testing, but a basic, "is this gentle on skin and hair" testing. He's a service dog, so he gets a bath at LEAST once a week, if not more. He's constantly getting into things, so sometimes he'll get as many as four in a week. I don't test lotions and lip balms on him, though, because that's silly.

His love of crawling under the car for no apparent reason in this picture resulted in a test of my shampoo, which cleaned him wonderfully.
